Percy came to us from the NYC shelter system.   He was found as a stray in sad shape with lots of mats in his coat and damage to his skin due to the matting and neglect.  

Percy is a special boy who will need someone patient and understanding to make him feel at home. He recently had a dental cleaning and neuter as well as an appointment with a cardiologist. He has a significant heart murmur as well as heart disease, but it is under control with medication he will need to be on for the rest of his life. Due to his heart condition Percy cannot be overexerted and must go to a QUIET household. Percy has previously had a hard time transitioning homes so potential adopters must be willing to do MULTIPLE MEET-UPS before they are cleared to take him home.

  In true chihuahua form, Percy forms a strong bond to his “person”. Once you become Percy’s “person”, he will give you all the love in the world! His favorite activities are napping on fluffy blankets and sniffing flowers in the grass. Percy’s adoption fee is $250.
