Remi is a sweet pup looking for a new home. He is currently in a foster home in NJ. He weighs about 52 lbs and is estimated by our vet to be between 18 months and 2 years old. Remi is currently available for adoption, but please keep in mind we are receiving multiple applications for each dog.

Remi has lots of personality and loves everyone. He is dog-friendly, and has loved every person and dog he has met. Remi is sweet and friendly and loves to give kisses!   He likes toys and loves to play fetch.  Remi is almost totally housetrained, and his foster family is crate-training him, too. He would be best with a fenced yard to run in and perhaps a doggie friend to play with. Remi definitely LOVES to run! 

He loves to play with a racquetball on the house; frozen Kong toys with peanut butter are a hit; he can look out the window for hours, and perhaps the best thing about him is that after his dinner he’s down and finished for the night. Remi sleeps quietly straight through from 8 PM till 7 the next morning! He’s back outside by 7:30 to 830 for a walk, then he eats, gets another hour walk around 8:30 or 12, and again about 6 PM.

Remi would be best with an active family with children over 7 years old since he is still overly puppy-playful and jumpy/nippy.  We want Remi to go to a family that is experienced with large, active dogs.

Remi's foster family thinks that he might never have lived in a busy area, so he can be skittish about some things -- but he is very sweet and he will learn.

Remi has been fully vetted.  His heartworm status is negative.  Remi's adoption fee is $400.
