Montana (aka Monte) is looking for a forever home where she can spend her golden years. She will make someone a great companion hanging out with you in your man cave, she shed, or on the couch binge watching your favorite Netflix show! She's calm, sweet and very loving.

Montana  originally belonged to a US Army Ranger who sadly was killed in Fallujah.  Montana's current owner who took over her care is ill, and can no longer look after her. 

Montana has lived with other dogs, cats and older children and is very friendly with them. She greets all with kisses and a wiggly butt and has a special fondness for men (probably since she spent most of her life with one).

Montana still has a good energy level and loves walks (although she needs a bit of a diet--but don't we all!).  Not only is Montana good on the leash, but in the car too and she likes to stick her head out of window and see what's going on and smell the fresh air. Montana knows some tricks like sit, paw and lay down, but just may need a quick refresher.

Montana is house-broken and will scratch at the door when she needs to go out. She's been on several sleepovers with our fosters and she's been a gem. She's  fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.

Adopting a senior dog is incredibly rewarding. This low-key senior sweetie deserves another chance and she's so ready to settle right in with you and get some belly rubs!
