Tess looks like she might be a Chihuahua mix. She and her puppy Zeke were rescued from a rural Louisiana shelter by our friends at Misfit Rescue in Louisiana.  We think Tess is about 1 year old (and already had babies!). Tess can be a little shy at first, but she fell in love with her foster family pretty quickly.  She likes to cuddle and put her head on laps, and enjoys going for walks.  She plays nicely with her puppy Zeke and other dogs - she's still a youngster herself! She can be a silly, zoomie girl when she is excited, but usually is calm.

If you want a companion who will be over-the-top thrilled when you are home, Tess is the girl for you.  She leaps 3 feet into the air with excitement when her foster family comes home (even if it's only been 10 minutes!)

Tess has been spayed, microchipped and is up-to-date on vaccines.  Her adoption fee is $400.
