Hey there! I am J-Lo, the dancing little Chihuahua from the school of hard knocks. You see, my foster mom, well she is just great to me...she found me in the shelter one day. She tells me that I was just a lump under a roll of newspaper, growling in the back of the cage. I was scared. All she could see of my little 9 lbs body was my tail. The card on my cage just said, "spayed, female Chihuahua. I am a 9 pound chihuahua who gets nervous with a lot of people and overstimulated so I must be adopted by a person with chihuahua experience in a quiet home with few visitors. I am a fast learner and as I will explain I love to sit on your lap and I know how to dance. My foster mom took a chance with me and gave me a new life. I sat there, on her lap,a did not make a sound while my new guardian angel drove me home to a secure and loving place. I knew that I was safe and so I let her know with a big lick on her face and said, "Thank you!" It did not take me long to reassure her that she made a wonderful choice...ME!
Since that day, I am super affectionate, once I know you, that is. I am not that easy--too lady like for that! Yet, once I know you, I will sit on your lap, across your legs, and just attach myself to those that I like and love. I love to be near the people that are so kind to me...how about you?
If you take a chance on me, you will not be sorry. I can dance for you---taught J-Lo a move or two! Watch me wiggle--for you, and for the boys that I like. You see, I am a girlie dog and I like the boy dogs best, but not all of them so I would have to check him out before I say it is ok to room with him, get it? You can take me for walks and I will explore the neighborhood with you, or just your nice backyard. It does not have to be too big because I am just a little girl. My foster mom takes me for walks and rides and I love to go anywhere with those that take care of me. By the way, I am housebroken and know where to go potty-- outside! Aren't I smart?
I am a really nice, loyal girl and I kind of like it on the quiet side. My foster mom is not sure why I like it better that way but if you have a home where there is not too much traffic and would love to just sit and watch t.v. with me by your side or on your lap, then here I am. I am ready to go home and show you how interesting I really am. Thanking you in advance...J-Lo.
