Sasha came to us from an over-crowded shelter in NJ; she had been found as a stray and no one claimed her.  We think she looks like a ShihTzu, and our vet guessed that she's about 3-5 years old. 

Sasha is a happy girl who enjoys cuddling. She's been good with the other dogs in her foster home.  After one accident when she first arrived, she seems to be housetrained. 

She does do some running around the yard with the other dogs, but is mostly a calm companion who will snuggle with you. She enjoys playing with toys.

Sasha will "beg" for treats, but doesn't seem to know any other commands. She doesn't bark too much, but does have a little moan when she wants something! Sasha seems to prefer to be indoors rather than outdoors, but she has gone for long walks at the beach and neighborhood walks.  She wants to be in your lap when riding in the car - someone in her past life must have let her do that! But if you make it clear that she can't, she settles into her little dog bed.

Sasha definitely wants to snuggle with her family in bed at night! She enjoys "watching TV" in your lap, too.

Sasha meets everyone, even a toddler, very nicely and gently, with a happily-wagging tail. She loves getting attention.

Sasha's  adoption fee is $400.
