Celia came to NJ from Puerto Rico, where she was rescued from the streets. She had a horrible case of mange and hair loss when they rescued her, but with loving care she's looking and feeling great now.
Celia is great with everyone, including children. She likes some other dogs, but not all. We think she might be happiest with calm, larger male dogs - she loves her foster brother. Celia is a small girl who weighs 11 lbs.
Celia's foster mom (who calls her CC) says that she's great and an absolute love! Here's what she said: "CC is an 11.2 lb bundle of pure love .... she loves to snuggle and be held .... a real people dog. She can be a little shy at first but she warms up fast and just showers you with kisses. She loves her older doggie brother although she was a little scared at first .... mainly due to his larger size .... she loves other dogs and wants to greet every one she sees. We are working on the house training .... she currently does all her business on the pee pads ... no floor or carpet accidents .... she just seems to prefer the pads to going outdoors. I love this pup, she is super-sweet and affectionate. She is just a joy to have in our home".
Celia's adoption fee is $350.
