Plum came to Wag On Inn from NYC ACC. She was critically ill after swallowing a penny. Plum spent a week in the hospital and had the penny removed and then was moved to a loving foster home.
Plum is still recovering and getting her puppy vaccines. She also unfortunately has demodex and is undergoing treatment to get that under control. We anticipate Plum will be ready for adoption towards the end of May.
Plum will be fixed and microchipped when she is about 6 months old at the Spay-Neuter Center in Holmdel, NJ. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel. Her adoption fee is $550.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and trainingprior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
