Shyla came to us pregnant! She's only a baby herself at about 10 months old. Shyla had 7 puppies on April 3rd!!

Shyla is shy but oh-so-sweet. She has settled in to her foster home and is doing very well.

Shyla looks like she is an Australian Shepherd mix or a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix.

Shyla will be available for adoption 9 weeks after the puppies are born (around June 5th).

Shyla answers to "Momma" or "Momma Bear", and comes when called. She is good with other dogs and with kids (they are 10, 12, and 14 in her foster home). She has made great progress with her socialization and housetraining, although she will still have an accident (typically at night). She wasn't crated until recently because she needed access to her puppies. Her foster family is working on training her to walk on leash, and on her manners. Even though she's a mommy, she still is only a puppy herself!

Shyla can be easily frightened by loud noises and quick movemeents, but she is improving every day. Her foster mom can't help but think she was abused and / or neglected, possibly a stray for a very long time?

She is ridiculously cuddly and wants to be by her person all the time!! She is an absolute love bug, which compensates for any bad behaviors.

With patience, love, dedication and consistency, she has the potential to be a practically perfect dog! Her foster family adores her!

Her adoption fee will be $350.
