Tinsel is a sweet pup who is looking for a new home! She came to us in September 2022 as part of a Bissell Pet Foundation Transport. She's settled into her NJ foster home very well.
This is Tinsel's first time living in a house.
Tinsel lived at a sanctuary for 5 years, she stayed in an outdoor kennel with a concrete floor and metal fence walls.
Tinsel is not your typical dog, she doesn't walk on a leash, prefers to be inside and she's not crated. Her foster mom calls her a cat/dog. Tinsel loves affection, but she needs to approach you. She loves to snuggle on the couch or bed and she loves getting pets. She's happiest with a bone broth treat (her favorite) or having a bone.
Tinsel is dog friendly, cat friendly, crate trained and house trained. Her foster mom says she would probably do well with calm children. Her foster mom has done an amazing job of getting her used to living in a home, but Tinsel just will NOT walk on a leash. For this reason, a fenced yard is required.
Tinsel is fixed and up to date on vaccines. She is tested negative for heartworm. She is on Proheart 12 heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $300.
