Fran came to us as a transfer from another rescue after they took in 6 dogs from a hoarding situation. She gave birth to a litter of five healthy pups at the end of March. She is available for adoption now!  We are hoping to move Fran to a new foster or adopter asap!

Fran is a shy girl as she didn't receive the proper socialization being with so many dogs.  She's done so well in her foster home learning to trust her foster mom and learning to be a companion. She loves to cuddle! Fran is used to living with several other dogs but she doesn't know how to play (or prefers not to be overly playful).  She ignored the cats in her temporary foster home (3 days).  She would love a quiet home where she can get lots of love and cuddles.  She has made progress but still needs a little work walking on a leash.  

Fran received initial vaccines and treatment for parasites at the shelter in Louisiana. We will arrange for her to be spayed as soon as she is ready - probably in late May.  Fran's adoption fee is $300.
