My name is Peluche and I came from a cruelty situation in Puerto Rico. I had no food and no water and my friend, Toytoi, and I are lucky to be alive!  I was rescued, neutered and sent to New Jersey so I could find a home where someone would treat me with kindness. Even though my life has not been easy, I am a gentle, good boy! I love car rides and can snuggle on your lap for hours, or have fun running around the house!

I get along with other dogs, but need to feel safe and secure when I eat my food so I like to dine alone.  I play nicely with other dogs my size or larger.  I love to play outside, walk nicely on a leash, and my foster mom is teaching me where the bathroom is.  I am a smart boy and eager to learn.  My bags are packed and I am ready for this most important journey of my life—to find my forever home!  I get along with other dogs, but don't like to share food with them.
