Our friends at the shelter in NC say that Henry is their favorite! He weighs 35 lbs, full-grown at 1 year old, and he's very friendly and gentle. Henry is a sweet, happy dog who wiggles his tail when you talk to him. He was cat-tested and appears to be good with cats. He needs a little fattening up, so his foster mom is working on that!
His foster mom says: "Hi. I'm Henry. I am an all around lovable boy about 12 months old. I am active and recovering from some tummy trouble so I'm gaining weight now that I had treatment and have good nutrition. My likes include running, playing with my doggie friends, talking to my kitty friends (sometimes chasing but we are working on that), eating and snuggling. My dislikes include when mom goes to work and breed discrimination (my best friend is a pit bull). I am an agreeable fellow, if my friends say it's time to play we play but if they want to settle down I join them often sitting right on them (they love it). I could be just your main man or join a family with kids. I don't care much for politics. I don't like watching the news either; I'd much rather be playing with my friends. I love to eat but I make my mom watch me eat; it's a weird quirk of mine. My friends include chihuahuas, pit bulls and kitties, so really I'm a good catch. I'm very handsome, as you can see, and have a deep hound-y bark."
Henry's adoption fee is $350.
