Molly
Molly

We love Molly! She is adjusting nicely. When we first got her, she was very timid. When I left she would howl and howl and when I walked in the door she would put a paw on each of my shoulders and if she could speak she would say: you're back, you're back, you're back, I didn't think you were ever coming back, you're back... She couldn't even make it around the block on a walk, she would just peter out and lay down. And if she saw another dog she would just cower with her tail between her legs. Now when I get up to run early in the morning, she just rolls over and goes back to sleep, she loves her walk and she has made friends with the other dogs in the neighborhood. She has a special favorite who sits on the corner, although he pays her no mind and I keep telling her to stop throwing herself at him. Coltrain from down the block is always slobbering over her, trying to lick her ear, but of course she wants no part of him. Always the way isn't it... She loves to lay in the sun in the backyard, chase the rabbits and she loves, loves peanut butter. She knows what cabinet it is kept in and when she wants some, she stands in front of it and barks and barks. We really are enjoying her. kind regards, Susan Mazzeo

Lulu
Lulu

Hi Linda, Thanks for writing me about Libby (not Lulu). I'm not sure how that started. As to Libby, she is by far the most intelligent dog I have ever had in my life. She is active, loving and wonderful to everyone. I put emphasis on ACTIVE AND INTELLIGENT. I have a seven foot decorative concrete wall around my backyard. I have chicken wire on the lower four feet of it to keep my dogs from going through the decorative concrete. I have never had a dog go through it - UNTIL LIBBY. Believe it or not, she climbs the wall like a ladder and goes over. It is amazing !! People don't believe me when I tell them. I am almost positive that she is part Rhodesian Ridgeback. She has so many of the characteristics. Needless to say, I had to put her on a long wire when she's in the yard. I love her like crazy. I tell everyone to adopt from Wag On Inn. Keep in touch. Carolyn

Tucker
Tucker

Good evening Linda. Thanks for getting in touch with us. I'm attaching an email I sent to our initial contact at Wag On Inn, Michelle. We adopted our pup Mijo (orig. name "Tucker") at the end of July. On Columbus Day we reunited with his brother, Tigger, who was also adopted out of Wag Onn In. See below for details: Hello there! Just wanted to let you know that today we had a little Wag On Inn puppy reunion. Tigger's family, Jamie & Austin welcomed us to their home so that Mijo/Tucker could visit his brother. It was funny to see them together - Mijo is so much larger than Tigger. They played chase forever and didn't have any major conflicts until they wanted the same bone. Tigger's family were very gracious hosts and we enjoyed seeing the pups play together... Here are some pics - enjoy!

Stella
Stella

Hi Linda, Stella is a wonderful addition to my home! I just love her so much! She is adjusting so well. When I first brought her home she was scared and timid. She was hiding in her kennel and refused to come out! Now she has become extremely social and loves to cuddle with everyone! I am so happy to have her my life. She is just a joy! After this experience I will always adopt rescue dogs!! Thank you!! Christine

nana
nana

Hi Linda - I just wanted to write to thank you and Wag On Inn Rescue for saving the most beautiful dog for me to love. I adopted "Nana", who is now called Coco Chanel on August 1, 2009. From what I understand she was in bad shape and not expected to live. She was rescued so she could die comfortably but surprised everyone and rallied. What a wonderful little dog she is. She is my constant companion and loves to be cuddled, petted and held. Her hair has grown back beautifully and she is now shedding. Her little fur reminds me of a baby's eyelashes. She has visited the vet and he said she will live a long life. Thank you again for my little buddy. If there is ever anything I can do for Wag On Inn Rescue please let me know. Bernadette Cardell
