Hello everyone out there is dog rescue land! Boy am I glad to see YOU! My name is Louie and I would really love to have a chance at a home of my own. I am here with my foster mom and other dogs and even a cat or two. I would love to be an only dog to finally get the attention that I crave but, I am not greedy; I can be in a home with a small dog or even with a cat! So, you see, I am flexible and OH SO LOVING! See my long, lovely dancer's legs? It is the Italian greyhound in me. I am 10 years young,weigh 9 lbs. and although no longer an Olympic contender, I can still run and play. I love to chase a toy and can even wrestle with a toy or two. I only have four bottom teeth but I use them wisely and I eat just fine. I love to be with the person who cares for me so please do not leave me alone for too long. I am a great companion so take me on walks and I will be as happy as can be, car rides, too! In return, I will be your loving companion and a great watch dog. That Chihuahua/Italian greyhound in me makes me a great, and special combo of a dog and I have waited a long time for a person or family to adopt me. I do not know why? I have long legs, an elegant face, can cuddle with you for hours, and am a quiet little guy. The medicine that I am on for my rare seizures is inexpensive and it such a none issue that I forget that I even have it. If you know about Italian greyhounds, then you know we need a fenced in yard, or need to be leash walked so please do not leave me off leash in an unfenced area. I even know how to use a doggie dog into a fenced in area. No biggie, right? I need a home without children because I am too delicate for them but not too delicate for a person to love me and let me sit by his or her side for hours. Please let me change the channel sometimes; I do have my favorite T.V. shows and radio stations. Ha Ha.
