Hi, my name is Spooks and I am a" lovebug"  of a cat.  I am neutered, current on vaccinations, and am about 3 years old.  I need a home because my family loves me enough to find me a good match. I love people and I am gentle with adults and children and live in a home with very small children and I am loving to them and to my mommy and my daddy. The other cats in the house came there first and just do not like me.  I like to be a bit of a big shot and try to get my way with them.   I am a lap cat and had a rough beginning...here is my story as my mommy tells it...

One night a cat appeared in my backyard and willingly came over to me. Instantly I knew he was not ferrel, as he allowed me to pick his tick infested body with no resistance. I took him to the vet to see if he was micro-chipped , and of course he was not. In fact, he was a healthy, neutered male approximately 2-3 years old. We gave him all hist shots and brought him home. For the past 6 months, Spooks has been with me and my 3 other cats, and we have kept him inside. My other cats have not taken to him at all, in fact, I believe that Spooks would be best if he was an only cat. He is wonderful and has a great disposition about him! He tolerates my 2 children incredibly! How unfortunate that such a well tempered , loving cat would have no home?I am not sure what happened at his previous home either. I did try to find his owners by posting pictures of him a the local police departments and veterinary hospitals, but no one has claimed him. Although I would LOVE to keep him, its is just not working out with my other cats. Spooks will stay with me until I find him a home. I am hoping that there is a family out there who is looking for a loyal ,loving friend to have.
